Craig Williams CEO

Speare Memorial Hospital invites community members to “Meet Craig Williams — A Community Conversation” on Thursday, October 29, from 4:30-6:00 pm at Speare Memorial Hospital.

The informal gathering will give residents an opportunity to meet Speare’s new president and chief executive officer, hear about his first months at the hospital and share their perspectives on health care in the community.

Since joining Speare in June, Williams has focused on listening and learning – meeting with employees, medical providers, board members, and community partners – to better understand the hospital’s strengths and the needs of the people it serves.

This event will continue that conversation with the broader community. Williams will offer brief remarks followed by time for questions and informal conversation. Residents are encouraged to share their experiences and thoughts for improving local health care.

“In the last few months, I’ve been struck by the dedication of the Speare staff and how deeply this community cares about its hospital,” says Williams. “I look forward to meeting more of our neighbors, hearing what matters most to them, and talking about how we can continue to strengthen access to care close to home.”

As a 25-bed critical access hospital, Speare plays an essential role in helping people throughout central New Hampshire receive care close to home. This gathering offers an opportunity to connect with the hospital’s leadership and discuss its role in the community.

The event is free and light refreshments will be served. RSVPs are appreciated by Monday, October 26 to: ktarbox@spearehospital.com. Walk-ins are welcome.
