Dr. Howard Mitz, a highly skilled gastroenterologist, is now seeing patients in Plymouth. With decades of experience treating all digestive disorders, Dr. Mitz will offer his expertise to the greater Plymouth area. 

“I am excited to partner with Speare and to bring more than 30 years of gastroenterology experience to help treat the Speare community,” says Dr. Mitz. 

Board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Mitz earned his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his advanced fellowship training in gastroenterology at the Chicago Osteopathic Medical Center.

Gastroenterologists focus on digestive system diseases and disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and liver.
