PLYMOUTH, NH – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Speare Memorial Hospital is putting a spotlight on early detection, advanced treatment, and ongoing support for women and families affected by breast cancer.

At Speare’s women’s imaging center, patients have access to cutting-edge technology, including 3D mammography and image-guided breast biopsies. Accredited by the American College of Radiology, the center provides tools that help detect and diagnose breast cancer with precision. Unlike traditional surgical biopsies, image-guided biopsies are minimally invasive, faster, and less stressful for patients.

But Speare’s care goes beyond diagnosis. Many women face challenges in managing side effects, reducing recurrence risk, and rebuilding physical and emotional strength after treatment.
