In recognition of American Diabetes Month, Speare Primary Care and White Mountain Eye Care & Optical—departments of Speare Memorial Hospital—are inviting the community to attend their free Annual Diabetes Day on Wednesday, November 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the lobby at 103 Boulder Point Drive, Plymouth, NH.

The event aims to raise awareness about diabetes prevention, management, and care. Community members can take advantage of free prediabetes screenings, explore educational displays and resources, and connect directly with healthcare professionals to learn more about maintaining healthy lifestyles.

In addition to the educational offerings, the event will include refreshments, giveaways, raffles, and a presentation by the ACHS Teaching Kitchen, making it an engaging and informative day for attendees of all ages.

“Diabetes affects millions of people nationwide, including many right here in our community,” said Rachael Brown, LPN, care coordinator at Speare Primary Care. “Events like this help raise awareness, promote prevention, and provide valuable information and support to those living with diabetes or at risk.”

No registration is required, and admission is free.
