Speare Memorial Hospital Expands Gastroenterology Services with Dr. Jonathan Lamphier at Plymouth General Surgery
Speare Memorial Hospital has been named among 50 Critical Access Hospitals to Know in the United States. The list, compiled for the first time by Becker’s Hospital Review features critical access hospitals that have demonstrated excellence in caring for their communities, rising above to meet the needs of their patients.
“This designation is another testament to the diligence and commitment Speare has to provide the best care possible to our patients every day,” says Speare’s President & CEO Michelle McEwen, FACHE. “Meeting and exceeding national standards of care and patient satisfaction expectations is a result of the collective efforts of our medical staff, nurses, clinicians and support services staff throughout the Hospital.”
The Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on awards and recognitions they have received. Specifically, the team looked at iVantage Health Analytics’ list of Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals, the National Rural Health Association‘s list of Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals, patient satisfaction scores from CMS’ Hospital Compare and various Healthgrades awards.
