Area knitters and crocheters spent the past three months making 90 plus caps that were
donated to Speare Memorial Hospital’s Oncology Clinic, a regional affiliate of Dartmouth Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
Marcia Anderson (center), Marge Mitchell (l) and Elizabeth Dunkling (r) presented the colorful assortment of caps to the Oncology staff on behalf of the New Hampton Community Church. Knitters from Rumney Baptist Church, the Plymouth Regional Senior Center, Pasquaney Garden Club and Newfound Knitters also contributed their time and talents to the effort.
