Jamie Smith, licensed clinical mental health counselor, is the newest addition at Plymouth Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine and Speare Primary Care, providing support to patients of all ages, giving them a safe place to discuss feelings and to learn new coping skills or reinforce existing coping skills.

Jamie, who specializes in anxiety, depression, and early childhood trauma, earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Plymouth State University’s nationally accredited program. She has experience working with children and adults in various settings in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Compassionate and personable, Jamie works closely with people to make a connection, understanding that mental health supports overall well-being. She values nurturing not just physical health, but emotional resilience and inner strength as well.

“Making a difference in people’s daily lives is both important and rewarding to me,” says Jamie. “Each day brings opportunities where behavioral counseling can be as impactful as any other treatment.”
