Area knitters once again came together to lend their talents by knitting and donating 110 baby caps to the Birthing Suite at Speare Memorial Hospital to be given to newborns before their discharge home. The effort was led by the New Hampton Community Church in partnership with Rumney Baptist Church, Plymouth Regional Senior Center, Newfound Knitters and the Pasquaney Garden Club. Labor and Delivery Nurse Laurel Galvin, RN, received the caps from Marcia Anderson, Elaine Foster, Betty Dunkling, Margerite Dengel and Wanita Calley.
