As healthcare professionals themselves, Steve and Emily Ball know the importance of personalized, patient-centered care. It was the same care experience they wanted for the birth of their first child, and why they chose Plymouth OB/GYN and the Birthing Suite at Speare Memorial Hospital.

More then you expect® . . . doesn’t begin to describe the commitment Labor and Delivery Nurse Jennifer “Jen” Hennessey made to them. Knowing they were interested in hypnobirthing, Jen took it upon herself to learn the technique. Taking her commitment a step further, Jen stayed on 18 hours after her shift ended to be there for Emily and Steve, and Wesley’s arrival.

As proud new father Steve says, “You just can’t ask for better care anywhere, and it is right here at Speare.”
