What is the Employee Giving Campaign and why should I make a gift?
As a nonprofit organization, Speare Memorial Hospital raises donations from friends, employees, businesses, patients, foundations and organizations. When you give, it sends a very powerful message, to the community, state legislators, and to others who are considering a donation, that Speare is a place for philanthropic investment and that you are proud of our hospital.

How are donations used?
Unrestricted gifts are especially important as they can be directed to current priorities and new opportunities at the Hospital. Over the next year, unrestricted donations will help fund the school-based dental health program, medical equipment, and expenses related to the Hospital’s general operations.

How can I make a gift?
The easiest way to give is through payroll deduction, which spreads your donation out over 26 pay periods (click on the “Payroll Deduction” button at the top of the page and fill out the form). If you would like to make a one-time donation, you can click on the button at the top of the page or make out a check to “Speare Memorial Hospital” and put it in the Development mailbox.

If I’m already giving through payroll deduction, do I need to fill out a new form?
No, there is no need to fill out a new form for 2025. Your deduction will continue until you choose to change it, and you will be automatically entered in to the raffle – prizes to be drawn on January 2^nd.  THANK YOU!
