Dr. David Cunis and Dr. Heather WilliamsAs summer transitions to autumn, Plymouth Pediatrics is also experiencing a change of seasons. On September 3rd Plymouth Pediatrics held a Farewell and Welcome Party for Dr. David Cunis and Dr. Heather Williams.

Plymouth Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine is a regional clinic of the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD). Its clinicians are affiliated with Speare Memorial Hospital, and their goal is to work with local and regional specialists to provide the children and adolescents in the community with the high quality care they need when they need it.

Thousands of children over the 31 years have encountered the approachable Dr. David Cunis. His slapstick humor and fondness for ‘The Three Stooges’ resonated well with his patients, and his calm, thoughtful demeanor appealed to their parents. A New Englander in origin, Dr. Cunis and his wife, Eileen, enter retirement with plan to continue to enjoy the White Mountains from their home in Campton.

While bidding adieu to Dr. Cunis, Plymouth Pediatrics welcomes Dr. Heather Williams. Originally from the southeast, Dr. Williams recently completed her pediatrics residency, and she and her husband are looking forward to hiking and horseback riding in the White Mountains with their puppy, Scout.
