PPE donations needed cloth face masks

We are immensely grateful for the outpouring of support we have received from our community. Thank you for donating your time, talent, and resources to help Speare Memorial Hospital during these extraordinary times. We appreciate your generosity while we work together to protect our patients, families, and community from exposure to COVID-19.

New donation drop-off location!

All donations of supplies and equipment should now be dropped off in the donation bins located at the Plymouth State University (PSU) ALLWell North Parking Garage, 32 North River Street, Holderness.

Drop off hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday between the hours of 1-5pm, or by appointment via email at jadutille@plymouth.edu, or phone at 603-535-2372.

Speare is thankful to the office of community impact at PSU for partnering with us to make donating as safe as possible.

Donate PPE supplies, equipment, or other resources

Please email us at COVID19Donations@spearehospital.com to let us know what you are able to donate. In particular, we are seeking personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect our employees and patients. These include:

  • Face Shields (disposable and non-disposable/washable)
  • Isolation Gowns – specifically Quick Comply Over-Head AAMI Level 2
  • N95 Masks
  • Precaution Masks
  • Nitrile Exam Gloves
  • iPads/Tablets

Help protect others by sewing masks

While fabric masks are not used when caring for people with COVID-19, according to the CDC, they are an option when other supplies have been exhausted. They can also be helpful in other areas of patient care as supplies of PPE are depleted.

Materials:

  • 100% unused cotton fabric (front) – no metallic fabrics
  • 100% cotton or cotton flannel (back)
  • 1/8″, 1/4″, or 3/8” flat elastic, or 1/4” inch bias-tape

Instructions:

Dropping off fabric masks:

When dropping off a donation, please have items bagged/boxed with your name and address included. Masks should be in a resealable plastic bag.
