Rehab Fit Balance class outside

RehabFit has reopened! Many precautions have been taken and so far re-opening has run smoothly!

Twelve members are allowed in the fitness center at one time. Since re-opening there has yet to be a time where the twelve-member limit was reached.

If members are concerned about space upon arrival, we suggest calling us before leaving home to verify how many members are currently present in the gym.

Some fitness center equipment is off limits to ensure members stay at least 6 feet apart. Members are reminded to stay physically distant and are encouraged to wipe down equipment before and after use. Exercise specialists are also cleaning all equipment multiple times per day.

Members are asked to wear masks at all times in the fitness center but are allowed to pull their mask down and take a break or “breather” if breathing becomes tough while exercising in the mask.

Group exercise classes are limited to eight participants per class and are available to RehabFit members and non-members. In class, participants are spaced out eight feet from each other, per state guidelines.

We ask class participants to sign up for classes ahead of time by calling or emailing. While in class equipment is not shared and all equipment and furniture are cleaned by exercise specialists after class. Group exercise classes are also being held outdoors when possible.

RehabFit understands many members are not comfortable returning to a fitness center setting due to COVID-19 and the modified hours do not work for all. We are allowing lengthened membership freezes (holds) and more than one freeze per year due to the current situation.
