Highly respected primary care physicians Dr. Valentin Milchev and Dr. Gurvinder Bali have joined Speare Primary Care in Plymouth. Dr. Bali began this month, and Dr. Milchev will start seeing patients in January.
Specializing in internal medicine, Drs. Milchev and Bali are dedicated to providing exceptional primary care to adult patients. They often serve as a patient’s first point of contact for most medical issues, can diagnose, treat, and prevent disease, and counsel patients on wellness. They develop life-long relationships with patients and make recommendations based on each patient’s unique situation.
“I am excited to continue practicing internal medicine in central New Hampshire, contributing to the health and well-being of those who live here,” says Dr. Milchev. “Especially in the friendly and collaborative environment at Speare Primary Care.”
Dr. Milchev has provided 25 years of medical care to the Laconia area and is eager to see patients again in January. “Helping patients achieve and maintain good health matters most to me,” he says. “We want them to leave the office able to participate in life – happy and helpful to their families and community.”
Dr. Milchev says he focuses on treating every patient as an individual, understanding their particular needs, and “addressing them as completely and thoroughly as possible.”
Dr. Bali is happy to continue serving the community and the Lakes Region. “Speare’s interest in growing as an organization by adding services and providers for the betterment of the community ensures the health and well-being needed in rural New Hampshire,” he says. “It is beneficial that patients have access to multiple services under one roof in a warm and welcoming environment.” Speare Memorial at Boulder Point is home to Speare Primary Care and several other hospital services.
Dr. Bali’s approach to primary care is directed towards preventative medicine with judicious medication use.
“I aim to help patients achieve their health goals by taking measures to prevent or alter the progression of a medical condition with as few medications as possible,” he says. “And many patients can definitely achieve that goal.”
Drs. Milchev and Bali’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of our region perfectly aligns with Speare’s efforts to deliver high-quality, compassionate healthcare close to home.
“We are here to provide primary care for all adults who need it,” says Dr. Milchev. “Scheduling an appointment is the first step, and we’re ready to help when you do!”
